Sarnath, the place of the Buddha's first sermon / 01

There are two attractions in Sarnath--this stupa, which emporer Ashoka had built, and the nearby museum which houses the national symbol of India, the famous pillar that you can't photograph without a permit. Around the stupa is a lovely park.
