Gabon 16 / I was fortunate to stay with a family in Libreville. Outside the house was a bar whose manager, the woman here, played wonderful music over her incredible sound system every night. One night I was so overcome by her music that I showed her my version of Jimi Hendrix's style of dirty dancing. Barmaids everywhere on earth are pretty tough people, but my dancing got to her—she thought it was the funnies thing she had ever seen. After that I was free to take pictures of her and her clientele.
