Gabon 26 / The market in Tchibanga. A high percentage of the food in Gabon is imported, which has been devastating for local agriculture. Nevertheless, markets like this one had plenty of fresh local produce. Tchibanga,where I spent two weeks, has a population of 10,000. It has two small supermarkets and more bars than I could count.
