A far as I know , I'm the first person to make a make music video on the Bangkok Skytrian platform (I wrote the company to get a permit to film.) Featuring the fantastic dancing of Lorna and music by Dire Straights, you won't be seeing this on MTV. My Thai neighbor, here in Bangkok, watched this and asked me if she could see my dancing doll. I didn't have the heart to tell her that lovely Lorna only exists in Adobe After Effects. One minute and twenty-eight seconds. |
In the Amazon area of Peru I had the opportunity to spend two weeks with Don Rober, a auyahuasca shaman. At 69 he has a tremendous lightness of being. One day, in the forest he demonstrated his bird calling ability. Thirty-seven seconds.
Are you tired of over-sexed music videos from India? Relief is here. I filmed this musician and other streets scenes in the village of Bodh Gaya, in Bihar, the poorest state in India. Two minutes and 12 seconds.
Under the famous Bodhi Tree in Bodh Gaya, India there is a lot going on at peak season. Here you can see the amazing Tibetan trumpeters, a woman bowing directly under the tree, and men and women doing a few of the 100,000 full prostrations that practioners of Tibetan Buddhism should do as one of the "Four Purifications." One minute and four seconds.

I met Christelle and Rolland at a meditation center in France and was immediately hypnotized by her voice and equally charmed by her long-time partner, Rolland. Later I asked them if they would let me film them. They said that they had never sung for a camera before, but that they would try. Here you can see their magnificent film debut and cry along with me.
In the clip they are singing an Indian devotional song dedicated to Ganesh. If you want the highest sound quality, try this MP3 file. It is dramatically better than the sound quality that a little flash movie can deliver. Three minutes and 34 seconds.
The village of Amarpurkashi in northern India has a small development project attached to it. For the last thirty years that project has run a "project visitors' program." It is a great way to learn something about development and rural life in India. I made this short promo for the project. You can also find this movie on my youtube channel.
